100KB limit

Compress an image to 100KB.

The checker below already has a 100KB limit set. Add your image, check it, then fix it. Filnixa verifies the finished file is genuinely under 100KB before you download it.

The 100 KB limit is preselected. Change it if your form asks for something else.

Why a 100KB cap is hard to hit

100KB is about one fortieth of a typical phone photo. Quality settings alone rarely get there for a picture full of detail, so the pixel dimensions usually have to come down too.

Forms that ask for 100KB are normally storing thumbnails, ID photos or scanned pages, where a smaller picture is perfectly acceptable.

How Filnixa gets there

It searches for the highest quality setting that still lands under 100KB, then steps the pixel size down if that was not enough, always keeping the proportions.

The finished file is re-measured and compared against the 100KB rule, so the pass you see is based on the actual output, not an estimate.
